Mrs. R.L. Smith, 72, died at the home of her son, H.L. Smith, in the Red Top community and was buried in the Oak Grove cemetery the next day.
She moved to Young County in 1905. Her death was caused from Influenza.
Mrs. Smith was a member of the Red Top Baptist Church.
Survived by three sons - H.F. Smith of Throckmorton County, Ira J. Smith of Throckmorton, H.L. Smith of Young County; two daughters - Mrs. Mary Vastal of Wichita Falls and Mrs. Tuga Townsley of Arizona.
