In Newport, on the 17th inst. JOHN COOKE, Esq. of Tiverton, in the 68th year of his age. In the revolutionary war, Colonel Cooke waited not to consider the result, but early stepped forward, with a spirit and an activity, honourable to himself, and beneficial to his country.
