ANNIVERSARY HONORED

The family of Mr. and Mrs. Irving Ray Stringham celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary with Mr. Stringham's 80th birthday October 26 at the Stringham residence in Salt Lake City.

Vera O. Jacobson and Irving Ray were married October 4, 1916 in the Salt Lake Temple. Mr. Stringham was born October 26, 1895 to Caroline Crouch and Philip Stringham in Vernal. He was a sheepman, musician, motel owner and worked for the forest service.

Their children are Helen S. McCollough and J. Thoral Stringham. They have six grandchildren, Elden, Duane and Carl Noel McCollough, Darlene Hicks and Alan and William Stringham, also 11 great-grandchildren and eight step-granddaughters and eight step-great-grandchildren. Prior to the open house a family dinner was served at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Stringham.
