Miss Mary Allinson,aged 38 years died unexpectedly in Indianapolis Monday after a brief illness and the body was brought to Decatur Wednesday. Funeral service will conducted at Dawsons with burial in Greenwood cemetery.

During the years that their children were of school age, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Allinson were residents of Decatur. Following her graduation from the Decatur high school she attended the University of Illinois whence she was graduated and later attended Columbia univesity,New York receiving her Ph.D. degree and became one of the staff lecturers of that institution.

At the outbreak of the war she was granted leave of absence by the university that she might engage in some work for the federal government. Last month she was assigned to the state of investigators detailed for work in Indiana and was making her headquarter in the office of Mrs. Luella Cox special inspector of the state industrial board when she became fatally ill.

She is survived by her mother, two sisters residing in New York and brother living in Portsmouth, N. H.
