Wilfred Bennett Andersen was born in Orange, California on March 7 1963 and went to be with his Heavenly Father on Sunday, January 17 2010 after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer. He was preceded in death by his father, Wilfred Andersen of Westport, CT and his father-in-law, Elvis Healy of Beebe, AR. He is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 20 years, Sharon Healy Andersen and his beloved children, Regan Elisabeth, 17 and Bennett Neal, 15 of Sunnyvale, TX. Also survived by his mother, Bettye Andersen of Westport, CT; brothers Bill Andersen of Tampa, FL and Bob Andersen of Baton Rouge, LA; mother-in-law, Ruth Healy of Beebe,AR; brothers-in-law, Ken Healy and wife Ann of Rowlett, TX and Travis Healy of Beebe, AR; and many nieces and nephews.
Ben and Sharon met while attending Harding University in Searcy, AR where they belonged to brother/sister clubs, Chi Sigma Alpha and Regina.
Ben was loved and respected in every aspect of his life. His love and devotion to his wife and children waa apparent to anyone who knew him. He loved his mother and brothers deeply and was loved and admired by them as well. He was an outstanding husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend.
