Robert Arthur Templin, 95, of Baytown was born October 20, 1913 in Rochester, NY and passed away Monday, December 1, 2008 at his home. He worked as a paperboy when he was twelve years old and attended the Southern California University of Los Angeles and Frank Wiggins Trade School. He was employed by various airplane companies and then the Aeojet General Construction Company building refineries, bridges and factories and a church in Rosemead, CA. He was a S. A. R. and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and was a life member of the N. R. A.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ellis and Genevive Templin; wife of 50 years, Josephine Templin; and son, Arthur Templin. He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Laura Fae Templin; grandchildren, Rebecca Torres and husband Sergio of Utah, Steven Templin and wife Recho of Japan, Sabrina Templin and Andrew Templin, both of Utah; great grandchildren, Kent and Marie Templin and Sergio Torres Jr., Ganna Torres, Ali Torres and Emanuel Torres; 4 stepchildren, 10 step grandchildren; and 11 step great grandchildren.
