BARR - Joseph Larry, 64, died Friday, August 27, 2004, at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon, IN. Mr. Barr was a partner in Land Realty in Brandenburg. He was preceded in death by a sister, Ernestine Bywater, and two brothers, Alfred and James Barr. Mr. Barr is survived by his wife, Vonnie Barr of Brandenburg; four children, Tommy (Cathy) Barr of Ekron, KY, Paul (Lynnette) Barr of Lanesville, IN, Laura (Jon) Clary of New Albany, IN, and Eric (Mendy) Barr of Payneville, KY; a brother, Irvin Barr of Louisville; and 12 grandchildren, Jessica, Amanda, Jennifer, Racheal, Lauren, Corey, Ryan, Madilyn and Emma Barr, Levi and Juli Clary and Brody Beckham. His funeral Mass will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Rhodelia, KY, with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call after 7 p.m. Saturday, 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Sunday and after 8 a.m. Monday at Hager Funeral Home. A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday in the chapel at the funeral home.

He was a partner in Land Realty in Brandenburg. He was preceded in death by a sister, Ernestine Bywater, and 2 brothers, Alfred Barr and James Barr. Mr. Barr is survived by his wife, Vonnie Barr, Brandenburg; 4 children, Tommy (Cathy) Barr, Ekron, Paul (Lynette) Barr, Lanesville, IN, Laura (Jon) Clary, New Albany, IN, and Eric (Mendy) Barr, Payneville; a brother, Irvin Barr, Louisville; and 12 grandchildren, Jessica Barr, Amanda Barr, Jennifer Barr, Racheal Barr, Lauren Barr, Corey Barr, Ryan Barr, Madilyn Barr, Emma Barr, Levi Clary, Juli Clary and Brody Beckham. Funeral services were held Aug. 30 from St. Theresa Catholic Church, Rhodelia, with Rev. Robert Abel officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery, directed by Hager Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Jim Thissen, Billy Price, Debbie Finn, Stephen Barr, Ronnie Barr, Mickey Barr, Levi Clary, Corey Barr and Greg Barr.
