OBITUARY - Anderson Herald, Anderson (IN) - Wednesday, November 20, 1957
Mrs. Elizabeth L. Rogge, 73, a sister of George Carmody, Anderson, died about 8 a.m. Tuesday at her home at 393 E Walnut St., in Wabash.
Mrs. Rogge had been a life-long resident of Wabash and was born April 27, 1884, the daughter of John and Margaret Ivory Carmody. She married Earnest G. Rogge on July 30, 1921 at Wabash.
She was a member of St Bernard's Catholic church of Wabash and was a charter member of the Rosary Society.
Surviving in addition to the brother here are: the husband, a son, William, Wabash; a daughter, Mrs. Robert Schuler, Wabash, and two sisters, Miss Katherine Carmody and Mrs. John Brady, both of Wabash, and three grandchildren.
The body was removed to the Wire Funeral Home at Wabash, where friends will be recieved after 10 a.m. today. Funeral services will be conducted at St. Bernard's Catholic Church at 9 a.m. Friday with the Rev. Robert Zahn in charge. #Burial will be in the Falls Cemetery at Wabash. The Rosary Society will conduct a service at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
