NATCHEZ - Services for Jana Thornton Ballard, 21, of Natchez, who died June 22, 2004, at Natchez Regional Medical Center will be at 2 p.m. today at Laird Funeral Home Union Street Chapel with the Rev. Curtis Thornton officiating.
Burial will be in the Greenlawn Cemetery under the direction of the funeral home.
Visitation is from noon until service time today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Ballard was born Aug. 30, 1982, in Natchez, the daughter of Theresa Kyzar Thornton and Bobby J. Thornton Jr.
Mrs. Ballard was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Marvin Kyzar Sr.; one aunt, Paula Mason; and a brother-in-law, Danny Lee.
Survivors include her husband, Robert E. Lee of Natchez; two daughters, Shelby Ann Ballard Lee and Kerri Danae Ballard Lee both of Natchez; parents, Bobby and Theresa Thornton Jr. both of Natchez; maternal grandparents, C.R. and Joan Moore both of Natchez; paternal grandparents, Bob and Janie Thornton both of Natchez; two brothers, Brad (Amanda) Kyzar of Natchez and Trey (Heidi) Thornton of Durham, N.C.; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Ralph and Karen Lee both of Natchez; two sisters-in-law, Anna (Dale) Metcalfe of Baton Rouge, La. and Amanda Walley of McComb; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Pallbearers will be Marvin Kyzar, Ralph Lee Sr., David Smith, Benton Thornton, Cedric Green, and Justin Foster.
