Funeral services for Nina Frances Foreman, 85,, of Novelty, were held at three o'clock Sunday afternoon, March 26, 1989, in Hudson-Rimer Funeral Chapel, Edina. the Rev. Bob Schofield conducted the services. Music was provided by Bonnie Kite. She was accompanied by Rita Waibel, organist. Burial was in the Leonard Cemetery at Leonard.
Mrs. Foreman died at 10:50 Wednesday morning, March 22, 1989, in Grim-Smith Hospital. Before entering the hospital, she had been a resident of the Knox County Nursing Home in Edina for five years.
Born October 16, 1903, at Brookfield, she was the daughter of William Alfred and Sarah Jane McCabe Fuller. On April 14, 1921, at Clarence, she was married to Vincil Webster Foreman, who preceded her in death on December 14, 1982.
Also preceding her in death were one brother, Ernest Fuller and two sisters, Lola Hunolt and Ada McWilliams.
Surviving are four sons, William Henry ("Bill") Foreman of Winifred, Montana, Gerald Leon Foreman of Edina, Harold Glahn Foreman of Novelty and Larry Dean Foreman of Lawson; two daughters, Mrs. Estel (Mary Jane) Gaines of Shelbyville and Mrs. Gerald (Betty Lou) Perry of Novelty; 17 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Mr. and Mrs. Foreman were engaged in farming near Leonard before moving to Novelty where they resided for several years.
Mrs. Foreman was a member of the Novelty Christian Church.
Bearers were her grandsons, Robert Gaines, James Gaines, Kenneth Gaines, Randy Perry, Dino Foreman, Kevin Foreman and Jerry Don Foreman.
