She was born February 17, 1920 in Alger, to Joshua and Viola Mae (Boyd) Orders, both of whom are deceased.
On December 29, 1938, she married William W. Scott, who passed away on December 31, 1980.
Survivors include three sons: Richard Ward (Susan) Scott of Ada, William Walter (Betty) Scott, Jr. of Hinesville, GA, and Thomas Leroy (Lesa) Scott of Alger; three daughters: Joyce Mae Reiff of Savannah, GA, Sandra Sue McKinley of McGuffey, and Kaylene Faye Ward of Alger; 16 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by six brothers: Ervil L., Russell E., Burdett Red, Kenneth R., Vincent E., and James O. Orders; five sisters: Sarah Naomi Spurlock, Emma Dorman, Marie Crawford, Juanita Smith and Eva L. Newfer; a grandson, Douglas C. Ward; and three sons-in-law: Eddy Reiff, John McKinley, and Larry Ward.
Mrs. Scott was a homemaker and a member of the Alger Assembly of God Church, Alger.
Funeral services were held Saturday, October 20 at the Alger Assembly of God, Alger, with Rev. Randall C. Wilson officiating. Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Alger, was in charge of the arrangements.
Burial was in Preston Cemetery, Alger.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alger Assembly of God Church, Alger.
