Married Daisy Nell Brady 10-14-1933; lived all his life in Gwinnett County, GA, and although he died in a hospital in Fulton County (from complications of peripheral artery disease and kidney failure), his residence was in Lawrenceville, Gwinnett County, Ga.
He was the Father of 12 children, 6 boys and 6 girls: Betty, Robert, Ray, Raymond, Hazel, Charles, Howard, Roy, Dorothy, Barbara, Sandra and Janice Lynn (who died as infant). He was a farmer, but worked at several other public jobs at the old Bell Aircraft, Monarch Wine Company, and Mars Manufacturing (cabinets and furniture). He was of Baptist faith, and was a member of Yellow River Baptist Church for many years.
