She was born March 18, 1896, in Greene County, the daughter of Samuel and Lorraine Jarvis Day.
She was a former Spencer resident, but had resided in Bicknell for the past 14 years.
She was a member of the Bicknell Church of Christ.
She married Court Franklin in February, 1914. He survives.
Also, surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Gerald (Mary) Deppe, Bicknell, and Mrs. Elmer (Wanda) Erb, Reading, Pa.: one son, Owen Franklin, Woodward, Iowa; two brothers, Wayne Day, Vincennes and Arch Day, Monroe City; one sister, Mrs. Fern Sampson, Vincennes; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Mc Clure Chapel with Evangelist, Leroy Inman officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. Wednesday.
