BAPTISM: Wilhelm 'William' BRUDER was baptized 15 March 1908 in Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church of Moltke. His godparents were Friedrich Bruder, Gustave Quade, Ida Goerick.
CONFIRMATION: Wilhelm was confirmed in the Lutheran faith 09 April 1922 in Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church of Moltke.
MARRIAGE: William BRUDER married Frieda Auguste SCHMIDT 24 June 1931 in St. James Evangelical Lutheran Church of Moltke. Witnesses at their marriage by Rev. Leonard Schmidt were Hardy Bruder, Renata Torno.
No children were born to Frieda and William.
In later years 'Bill' Bruder was a house painter/farmer living at the corner of Fuhrman Road and West Heythaler Highway in the very northeast corner of Bismarck Township on the original August Grossmann Homestead.
CEMETERY PLOT: Buried on the Wilhelm and Maria (Doebler) BRUDER plot in Memorial Park Cemetery in Rogers City are the following: William BRUDER, SR. and his wife, Maria DOEBLER BRUDER; John BRUDER and his wife, Mollie Schlaeger) BRUDER; William G. BRUDER and his wife, Frieda (Schmidt) BRUDER; and Fred H BRUDER and his wife Frieda (Thiede) BRUDER. There is a large memorial stone.
