Birth: Nov., 1883
Ellis County
Texas, USA
Death: 1952
Texas, USA

When Bony was one year old, his father, William Wallace Barker died. He was laid to rest in the Barker Family Cemetery, Millican, Brazo Co.,TX where the family first settled in Texas in 1834, with Stephen F. Austin first 100 families...His grandparents, His grandmother Haties Prescilla Adaline Millican Barker's parents were Wm M. Millican and Acented Williams and they came to Texas before Texas was the "Republic Of Texas." About 1829.
Bony was reared in the home he was born in at Rankin, Ellis Co., TX. It was a two story home with a large front porch. A photo was taken of the Barker Family, with children, and parents standing on the porch altogether. It is a wonderful photo. The faces were so small, however Thanks to Computers I was able to increase the size and see those on the porch. With other photo's I was able to ID them. The seven Barker children, 6 sons and 1 daughter were all present. Bony was the baby, 6 months old when his father died. The 4 adults, one younger and one older females and one younger and one older males in the photo.
It could be Missouri's parents or Buds parents. Or Missouri's sister and an unknown man. Photo's would help in the identification.
Bony and Sarah were the parents of Wallace W. and Bonita.
The Estate of Napoleon's father would take years to settle. The children were all appointed guardians for the process of probating the will, except for the eldest son, James Addison "Babe" Barker. The will and probate was filed in Ellis Co., TX; however, much of the estate was in Many Texas counties which he recieved from his grandparents and father from the early 1800 land grants for their services in the Mexican War and while under the Texas Republic.
Links to his grandparents are also listed with his parents. Clicking on Bony's parents, then on parents, parents will give you a great deal of family information.
