Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, 6969 E. Interstate 40, with the Rev. John Donnerberg officiating. Burial will be in Panhandle Cemetery in Panhandle.
Mrs. Johnson was born March 23, 1942, in Amarillo and was a lifelong resident. She married Jimmy Johnson on March 14, 1959. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Johnson; and a son, Neal Johnson.
Survivors include two sons, Guy Johnson and Craig Johnson, both of Amarillo; a daughter, Carrie Maxwell of Amarillo; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Michael Meaker of Groom; and a sister, Mary Bush of Carlsbad, N.M.
The family suggests memorials be to Amarillo Speech, Hearing and Language Center, 1300 Wallace Blvd., Amarillo, TX 79106
