Joseph O'Brien of 18 Nelson St. died Saturday morning at McCook Memorial Hospital. He was born in County Meade, Ireland, and was a retired guard at the Henry Wright Co. He leaves seven daughters, Mrs. Margaret Trecker of Windsor, Mrs. Katherine O'Neil of Miami, FL., Miss Alice O'Brien and Mrs. Mary Burns, both of Washington DC., Mrs. Anne Lally of Hartford, and Mrs. Shelia Bernardi of Manchester; a sister Mrs. Francis Larrow of Hartford; and 11 grandchildren.
funeral services will be held Tuesday at 8:15 am at the Ahern Funeral Home, 180 Farmington Ave., with a solemn requiem mass in St Michael's Church at 9. Burial will be in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 pm and Mnday fron 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm.
