Rainey’s Chapel of the Ozarks – Clinton Mervy Derrossett, son of James H. and Margaret Derrossett, was born March 3, 1879 in Wishart, Missouri. He was a life-long resident of the Morrisville community and a member of the Baptist Church there. On May 11, 1900, he was married to Alice Euliss who preceded him in death in May 1933. Mr. Derrossett passed away Tuesday morning, April 29, 1958, at a nursing home in Springfield where he had been a patient for the past seven months. Those who survive him are: two sisters, Mrs. Lucy Robertson of Route 10, Springfield, and Mrs. Nora DeGraffenreid of Bolivar, several nieces and nephews, a number of other relatives and friends.
