Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in the F.D. Sweet and Sons Chapel in Willows for Mrs. Britania Luella Tolson, 67, who died in Glenn General Hospital this morning. Mrs. Tolson came to Colusa County as a bride in 1903 and had lived here until about a year and a half ago, when she and her surviving husband moved to Willows. Mrs. Tolson had been hospitalized in Willows for a year.
Mrs. Tolson was born in Rockport, Missouri, September 24, 1885.
Surviving are her husband, Thomas T. Tolson, Sr., and a son, Thomas T. Tolson, Jr., of Willows; daughters, Mrs. Marguerite Burns of Newhall, Mrs. Jessie Dorris of Chowchilla, and Mrs. Mildred Humphrey and Mrs. betty Walls of Coalinga. Twelve grandchildren and three great grandchildren also survive.
Interment will be made in College City Cemetery. Rev. H. S. Saxby will officiate at the funeral.
Surviving brothers are Albert and Judge Tate of Los Angeles, Don Tate of Orland, Bob and Guy Tate of Missouri. Two surviving sisters also reside in Missouri. Mrs. Tolson was a sister-in-law of the late Mrs. A. H. Stapp and late Mrs. W. W. Brown of Grimes. There are numerous surviving nieces and nephews. Mrs. Tolson's husband is a patient in Glenn Hospital suffering a heart condition.
