SPY REPORTS, Nancy BACON, wife of Isaiah BACON, died at their residence near Green Oak, on Saturday, Feb. 23d, of lung fever, aged about 33 years. She leaves a husband, daughter, mother, brother and a large circle of friends to mourn her early demise. J. Yost WHEATLY in reporting her death to the Peru Republican only mentioned Mrs. Bacon's maiden name (Nancy EWER), entirely ignoring the existence of a husband and daughter, and it is thought by those most interested that there is some evil design in it. Yosty should confine himself to facts, and love his neighbors as himself.
