Mrs. Anna Blanton
Dies Last Night
Mrs. Anna Blanton, 63, widow of
Charles E. Blanton, died at her
home, 629 Franklin street, at 9
o'clock last night. She had been in
ill health following a stroke of
paralysis suffered one year ago.
Surviving are four daughters,
Mrs. Marie Hollis, Peru; Mrs.
Rosa Clary, Rome City; Mrs. Avilla
Cunningham, 609 Helm street,
and Mrs. Isabelle Hatfield, 501
Bates street; two sons, Oscar, 1638
Smead street and Russell, 1600
Clifton avenue; three sisters, Mrs.
Ruth Cramer, Rochester; Mrs.
Carrie Sparks, Monticello; and
Mrs. Maude Williams, Dallas,
Texas; three brothers, Henry Hanaway
and Jesse Hanaway, North
Vernon and Fred Hanaway, Wabash;
six grandchildren and one
great grandchild.
The body will be removed to the
home of the son, Oscar, late today.
Funeral rites will be conducted
at the Easteruay funeral parlors
at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon
and burial will be made in the
Bell Center cemetery, west of
Royal Center.
