Patricia was born in Providence, RI on January 16, 1944, daughter of Trenor and Janet Wagner Beaty Elwell.
Patricia loved photography and was an accomplished photographer. She enjoyed animals and loved watching "Bonanza" on television. She loved the outdoors and growing up on her great aunt's farm in Salem, N.Y. Patricia had a great sense of humor and enjoyed spending time with her family.
Patricia leaves two brothers, Trenor Elwell, Jr., of Spokane, WA, and Gordon Elwell of Utica, NY; four sisters, Emily Grover of Shaftsbury, with whom Patricia resided, Margaret Brundige of Benningotn, Ty Elwell of Madison, CT, and Barbara Cota of Bennington; her special nieces, Sarah Stratton, Betsy Tolliver, Aimee Gates and Heidi Young, all of whom helped care for Patricia, and many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her brother, Raymond Francis Elwell.
At the request of the family, there will be no formal funeral services.
Interment will be in the family lot in Center Shaftsbury Cemetery.
