OBITUARY :
SAMUEL D. BOCK, 70, of Pen Mar, died Wednesday morning at the Waynesboro, Pa., Hospital, after a long illness.

He was born in Waynesboro, a son of Harry and Mary Rummel Bock, and had lived all of his life in the Waynesboro area. He started Bock Dry Cleaning in 1922 and continued to operate the business until 1947, and for several years operated the Tip Top Cleaners in Chambersburg, Pa., and was last employed at Sam's End of The Trail Tavern at Pen Mar.

He attended Apostolic Church at Greenstone, and was a social member of the V.F.W. of Waynesboro.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Naomi J. Gantz Bock; a son Harry E. Bock of Fairfield, Pa., daughters, Mrs. Russell Redding of Hagerstown, Mrs. Charles Trzcinski of Baltimore, and Mrs. William Emory of York, Pa.; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Lelia Crouse of Hagerstown, and Mrs. Kathleen Manherz, of Fresno, Calif.

Services will be held on Friday at 2 p.m. at the Grove funeral Home in Waynesboro. The Rev. Eugene M. Cline will officiate; burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 7 to 9.
