On April 29, 1931, he was united in marriage to Esther Seifer of Sutherland at North Platte. To this union two children were born: one daughter, Doris Jean and one son, Gene Laverne.
He served on the rural school board, the Farnam Co-op elevator board and was a member of several farm organizations. He received his 50-year membership pin in the United Methodist Church in 1970.
Albert passed away unexpectedly at his home near Farnam, March 13, 1972, at the age of 71, 9 months and 18 days. He was preceeded in death by his parents, two sisters Caroline &
Rose and three brothers John, Paul & Chris
He is survived by his wife, Esther, one son, Gene, daughter, Doris Bellamy and four grandchildren; Linda, Bruce, Greg and Karen Bellamy of Farnam, one brother John, also of Farnam, numerous nieces and nephews, relatives and friends remain to cherish his memory.
