Helen V. Harmon, 74 of Midland and former Boyne City resident, died May 19, 1992, at her residence.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Saturday, May 23, at the Wilson Miller Funeral Home, 4210 N. Saginaw Road, Midland.

Interment will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Boyne Valley Cemetery, Boyne Falls.

Mrs. Harmon was born May 10, 1918 in Newberry, the daughter of Albert and Edna Alice (Ferris) Ruperd. As a youth she moved to Boyne City where she was raised and attended school.

She married Forrest W. Harmon on Jan. 17, 1952 in Boyne City and the couple moved to Midland.

Mr Harmon died on April 15, 1992.

Mrs. Harmon was a member of the Boyne Falls United Methodist Church and attended Midland First United Methodist Church.
She was a member and past President of the D.A.V. Auxiliary and the O.E.S. No. 121.
She is survived by her son Basil (Oren) and his wife Ursula Moore of Amherst, Ohio; one brother Cecil Ruperd of Columbia, Mo.; on sister Edna Gallimore of Dresdin, Tenn.; three grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and a brother-in-law and his wife, Ralph and Inis Harmon of Boyne Falls.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children.
