"On 9 Aug. 1832 Samuel Lesueur (Lesseur) Senr. of Monroe County made two deeds: (1)...to my daughter Mary Lesseur (Now Mary Bailey)… and (2) … to the heirs of my deceased son James Lesueur, all of the said state... to the heirs of James $5" (Cameron Allen, The Virginia Genealogist, v.43, 1, 1999, p.10)
