a resident since June of 2010.
She was born June 27, 1909, in the Town of Vernon, a daughter of Charles and
Lora Lowe Switzer. On Aug. 13, 1927, she was united in marriage to Fenn H.
Snyder. Mr. Snyder died June 8, 1988. During WWll, while living in Oneida, she
was employed with a local entrepreneur, Hugo Keller, making ready-made bandages
for the armed forces, and for 20 years, she was employed with Oneida Ltd.
inspecting cutlery and tableware. The Snyders moved to a farm in North Bay,
where she resided until she went to the Extended Care. She was member of the
Vienna United Methodist Church, and the Ladies Auxiliary of the North Bay Fire
Department.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Dorothy ME Cook, on Oct. 29, 1995, and her
son, Donald M. Snyder Jr. on Jan. 3, 2000. Surviving is (removed for privacy).

by three sisters, Mildred Bartella, Marjorie Mason, and Doris Seifert; and two
brothers, Robert Switzer and Charles Switzer.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff of the third
floor of the Extended Care Facility for their wonderful care of Harriet. A
memorial service will be held at a date and time to be announced in the spring,
at the Vienna United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in North Bay
Cemetery. There will be no hours of public visitation. Arrangements are under
the direction of the Coolican-McSweeney Funeral Home, 322 Washington Ave.,
