Mr. Longino was born on March 13, 1937, in Crisp County, to the late Earnest Carl Longino and Annie Florence Wood Longino. He was a retired welder from Blue Bird Body Company and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a member of New Life Baptist Church, where he taught the Adult Men's Sunday School Class and served as the Chairman of Deacons. His favorite past times were fishing and hanging out at Oglethorpe Hardware, his second home. His favorite meal was steak and potatoes.
Survivors include his two daughters and their spouses, Denise and Steve Anderson of Montezuma and Pam and James McLeroy of Andersonville; two brothers, Ray Longino of Orange Park, Fla. and Ronnie Longino of Andersonville; four grandchildren, Stephanie Anderson, Cynthia Anderson, Justin and Austin McLeroy also survive.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte Ann Allen Longino and his daughter, Cynthia Lynn Longino.
