Mary Inez Hardin 1901–1996
Rip founded and ran Hardin Oil Company. He is interred with his wife Gladys Daisy Purvis who he married 16 Apr 1932, she was the daughter of Arthur Dudley Franklin Augusta Purvis and Lula Belle Clark.
Over ten years later they adopted a daughter Janice 'Jan' Lillian Hardin. Not much is currently known about the adoption just that she was adopted as an infant. More later as it is discovered.
Rip passed 20 May 1993 in the afternoon at the Palestine Hospital in Anderson County, and he was interred Sat 22 May 1993
