Granvil S. Cain, 87, of 408 South Harris St., Huntsville, Ark., died Nov. 11, 1991, at Huntsville Memorial Hospital. He was born Dec. 28, 1903, at Aurora, Ark., the son of John William and Edna Luentha Rowton Cain. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Marble United Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Dixie McElhaney Cain on March 28, 1987.

Survivors include two sons, Floyd Cain and Kenny Cain, both of Huntsville; three daughters, Mrs. Joyce Burgess of Huntsville, Mrs. Mary Frederick of Springdale, and Mrs. Loretta Lawson of Wesley; three sisters, Mrs. Nola Spurlock of Turlock, Calif., Mrs. Arilda Dennis of Aurora, and Mrs. Delia McElhaney of Hindsville; 15 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 14, in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with the Rev. Harold DuVall officiating. Interment will be in the Aurora Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be L.D. Lawson, Kenny Frederick, Vester Bowman, Ed Fowler, James Luper and Marlin Spradling.
