Elijah Alonzo "Lon" Covington is the son of Parlee Fults and E. L. Covington, married August 2, 1883. The WWI draft registration card for Eliga Lonzo Covington, June 5, 1918, described him as single, tall and slender with blue eyes and light colored hair. He had heart trouble. He signed his name "Lon Covington."

A. L. C. Covington married Minnie Smith on June 3, 1922. Son Edward Ray Covington was born to Minnie May Smith and Eliga L Covington on January 17, 1928, in Center, Texas.
