Services for John Andrew Saksa, 81, of 770 Ogden street, who died yesterday in his home, will take place Saturday at 8:15 a.m. in the Charles T. Pistey and Sons funeral home, 255 Barnum avenue and at 9 o'clock in St. John Nepomucene church with a solemn high requiem Mass. Burial will be in St. Michael's cemetery.
Born in Austria-Hungary, Mr. Saksa resided in Bridgeport most of his life. He was employed as a cabinet maker by the City Lumber company 37 years, retiring 13 years ago. He was a member of the Holy Name society of St. John's church.
Survivors are a son, John Saksa, of Stratford; four daughters, Mrs. Mary Marchlinsky, and Miss Veronica Saksa of Bridgeport, Mrs. Anna Kollar of Lordship and Mrs. Catherine Svab of Stratford, eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
