Orville D. Walker, age 72, of Maryville, passed away Monday, December 18, 2006, at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was retired from A & P and was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army in 1961. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dewey Cecil and Ella Eve Prows Walker; daughter, Dorris Lynne Teffeteller; sister, Marcella Ruggles; and niece, Darlene. He is survived by his wife of fifty years, Ida Beth Kiser Walker of Maryville; son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Denise Walker of Yorktown, VA; grandchildren, Rebecca, Zachary, and Sandra; and niece, Angie Oliva. Family and friends will meet 3:00 PM Wednesday, December 20, 2006 at Grandview Cemetery for the graveside service and interment, Rev. Bill Fierbaugh officiating. Friends may call at their convenience from 8:00 AM until 2:00 PM Wednesday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
