Last Rites Held for Mrs. Sackett, 82.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday afternoon in Jonesville for Mrs. Laura May Sackett, 82, who died Sunday afternoon at Maplelawn Hospital. She had been in failing health for several years. She was born Sept. 19, 1873 in Conesus, N.Y., a daughter of Luman and Mary Romig Baldwin. She spent most of her married life in Jonesville. Her husband, Frank, died in 1925. Surviving are a son, Harold Baldwin of Jonesville, a brother, Lawrence R. Baldwin of Jackson and two grandchildren.
She was a life member of Vesper Chapter OES and attended the First Presbyterian church. The Rev. Robert Thomas of the First Presbyterian church of Jonesville officiated and burial was in Sunset View Cemetery."
