Services for James C. Delahanty, old-time baseball star who died Saturday, will be held at 10 a.m. tomorrow in Immaculate Conception Church, 4129 Superior Ave. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Mr. Delahanty played in the major leagues from 1901 to 1912. He started with the Chicago Cubs and ended with the Detroit Tigers,. He was one of five brothers who played professional baseball.
Employed as a street paving foreman, Mr. Delahanty was 75 at the time of his death. His home was at 1984 West 28th St.
Surviving are his wife, Hester; a daughter, Mrs. Eunice Smith; two brothers, Frank and Willie; a sister, Mrs. E. J. McGuire, and his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Friends may call at Flynn-Froelk Funeral home, 13032 Euclid Ave., East Cleveland.
