Mrs. Henry Hinkley, aged 63 years, 5 months, 15 days, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Norman Green, in Yale, on Friday, April 9, 1920.

Lydia Lucinda Harris was born in Canada and came with her parents to Michigan when 14 years of age, settling in Burnside township Lapeer county, where she met and married Henry Hinkley. Soon after (the young couple) purchased and moved to a farm in Fremont township, Sanilac county, residing there until recently.

Six children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Hinkley, five of whom are still living. They are:
...George, on the old homestead near Roseburg;
...Fred, of Port Huron;
...Anna Smith and
...Nellie Green, of Yale;
...Grace Rock of St. Clair.
...Effie died when 12 years of age.

The husband and children have the sympathy of a large number of friends in their bereavement.

Funeral services were held on Sunday at 2:00 o'clock from the home of Mrs. Norman Green, the Rev J.A. Avery officiating.

Interment was in Elmwood Cemetery.
