Born in E. Stroudsburg Pa to Peter Aron Gruber and Anna Maria Strouss. Her siblings were John Wesley, b 1853, Georgeanne , b 1864, Eliza C. b, 1857, Simon S. b 1859 , Hattie M. b 1866, Josephine b 1867, Adelia b 1869 and Isaac Newton b 1872. I believe they were all born in E. Stroudsburg Pa.

The wife of Samuel Oakley Miller of Scranton Pa. ( He was the son of Adam Miller of Pennsylvania and Elizabeth Oakley of Pennsylvania.)

She had 18 kids in 18 yrs. Only 8 survived:
