Dorothy Sane, age 57 of Newport, passed away Friday, December 18, 2009, at Lakeway Regional Hospital in Morristown.
She was preceded in death by her parents Margaret Stephenson and Clarence Stephenson and infant son Adam James Sane.
She is survived by her husband of 38 years Junior Sane; daughters Lori Williams, Lesley Cody (Dale), and Deanna Wilds (Malcom), and grandchildren Heather, Justin, and Taylor Williams and Cortaney, Adam, and Zackary Wilds, all of Newport.
She will also be greatly missed by her aunt Ruth Moneymaker of Newport and special friend Julie McAmis of Bybee.
Funeral services were held at 7 p.m. Saturday, December 19, 2009, in Manes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Fred Gregg officiating.
Burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 20, 2009, in New Home (Redwine) Cemetery.
The family received friends on Saturday from 5:00-7:00 p.m. prior to the funeral at Manes Funeral Home.
