Shirley Gordon Floyd, 54, died Sunday, May 22, 2005 at Candler Hospital after a brief battle with cancer.
She was a lifelong resident of Savannah. She was employed by Parker's Convenience Stores for several years, and last worked at Ashley's Convenience Store.
A beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt; is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law, Johnny and Rhonda Gordon, Jr., Jack Gordon, Sr.; a daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Mason Murkerson, all of Savannah; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Gary and Joy Myers of Guyton, Randy and Pam Myers of Bloomingdale; nine grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and a special friend, Jerry Beasley.
Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at the Hubert C. Baker Funeral Home-Hodgson Memorial Drive.
Funeral Services: 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Chevis Oaks Baptist Church.
Burial: Westside Memorial Gardens.
