MUNFORD - Lillian Timbs Joyner, 81, of Marianna, Ark., formerly of Munford, retired nurse's aide at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, died Tuesday of congestive heart failure in Marianna. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Munford Funeral Home with burial in Helen Crigger Cemetery here. Having lived most of her life in Munford, Mrs. Joyner became a resident of Covington Manor Nursing Home three years ago and then moved last weekend to Crestpark Nursing Home in Marianna. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Munford. Mrs. Joyner, the widow of John Joyner, leaves a son, Wallace Joyner of Marianna; two sisters, Frances Turnage of Munford and Ruby Rhodes of Tipton; a brother, James Timbs of Memphis, three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
