Bluffton evening News - Tuesday, August 28, 1928 - Mrs. Jacob Baker, aged 79, died at her home 4 miles S.E. of Warren at 9:25 this morning. she had been ill for two years with paralysis and complications.

Mrs. Baker was born in Clinton County, Ohio, Nov. 3. 1848, daughter of Mr. & Mrs Chappel Hunnicutt. Her marriage to Jacob Baker took place June, 1870. They soon after established their home S.E.of Warren. They lived there 48 years. Mr. Baker died 4 years ago. Surviving are children - J.F., Bluffton; John C., Warren, Mrs. John Green, Porterville, CA; William V., Fernando, CA; Ora E., Warren, Fred, near Warren and Albert of Colingua, CA. 2 sisters, Mrs. Wm. Harrold, Warren; Mrs. James Harrold, Mt. Zion & a brother Bert Hunnicutt of Bluffton.

The deceased was a member of the U.B.Church at Mt. Zion. Funeral service will be at 2PM Thursday afternoon at the Sugar Grove Church, Rev. Charles H. Slusher officiating. Burial will be in the Jones Cemetery.
