William was two years old when his family left Barton County, and moved to Jewell County by covered wagon.

He married Erma and they lived on a farm in Republic County until 1924 when they moved east of Webber. They lived there until 1971 when they retired to Superior.

Webber services for W.W. Gunn

Funeral services for W.W. Gunn, 84, was conducted at the Webber United Methodist Church Wednesday at 10 a.m. Mr. Gunn died Sunday noon at the Nuckolls County Hospital after being hospitalized only a few hours.

Survivors are his wife, Erma; five daughters, Mrs. Maurice Lawson (Berniece) of Penalosa, Kan., Mrs. Marion (sic) Ault of Salina, Mrs. Toby Kramer (Kathleen) of Mankato, Mrs. Marvin McDill (Ilene) of Belleville and Mrs. Barney Crook (Evelyn) of Superior; 13 grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.

The Kramer Funeral Home of Mankato was in charge of the arrangements and burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Superior.
