LOREN MABREY
Loren Mabrey, 52, died suddenly at 11:30 o'clock Monday night at his home, 507 South Webster street, of a heart ailment. After being ill several months ago returned to his work with the Indiana Bell Telephone company, by which he was a member of the Telephone Pioneers. He came to Kokomo from Bloomington in 1935.
Mr. Mabrey was born May 1, 1894 near Sheridan in Hamilton county, the son of George and Rachel Mabrey.
Surviving are the widow, Lessie, a son, Paul at home and two daughters, Irene and Mrs. Maxine Stout, both of Phoenix, Ariz. He leaves two sisters, Mrs. Ethel Richardson, of Sheridan and Mrs. L. L. Hill of Fremont, Ohio and two brother, Ernest of Zionsville and Ben of Dayton, Ohio. The parents, a brother, Ed and a sister, Edith, preceded him in death.
The body is at the Ellers funeral home. Funeral arrangements will be made after the daughters in Arizona are heard from.
