Dairrell Abney, 62, of Hillsboro, Indiana, formerly of Peoria, Illinois died at 9:30 a.m. Monday, November 15, 1993 He had been in ill health for the past four years.
Born June 1, 1931, in Irvine, Kentucky, to Troy S. and Orpha Watts Abney, he married Annabelle Fisher on January 6, 1957, in Danville, Illinois. She survives.
Also surviving are five sons, Robert L., Keith D. and Steven T., Bruce M., and Darrel Leon, two grandsons, two brothers, his twin, Doyle, and Homer, and one sister, Mrs.
Robert L. (Regina) Foreman. He was preceded in death by an infant son.
He worked for Toastmaster Bread Co. from 1957 to 1974. He was a route salesman for Continental Baking Co. for 18 years, retiring in 1989. He was a Boy Scout leader and Little League coach in East Peoria. He moved from Peoria to rural Hillsboro in 1975.
