Jennie Lou Galloway, 71, of Kokomo, passed away at 2:45 AM Monday, November 24, 2014 Waterford Place Health Campus. Born August 8, 1943 in Kokomo, she is the daughter of the late John Orba Lee and Betty Lou (Lentner) Lee. She was a 1961 graduate of Kokomo High School. On August 19, 1961, in Kokomo, she married Kenneth Paul Galloway. He preceded her in death on June 12, 2002. She was employed with Delco Plant #9, a bus driver for special needs children, an Area 5 case worker in Tipton, also an art teacher. She enjoyed painting, crocheting and quilting, She was a member of the Art Association, Eastern Star, Lions Club, Civil Defense, and was associated with the Shriners.
Survivors include two daughters Tamara Durham and Melissa (Steven) Nelson, ; one brother John (Ruth) Lee II ; one sister Judy (Don) Killingbeck ; seven grandchildren Paul (Rachael) Durham, Allen (Steffanie Scircle) Durham, George Durham, Andrew (Gennipher) Nelson, Jessica (Thomas) Hamilton, Matthew Nelson, and Michael Karr; two great grandchildren Ryden Hamilton and Aiden Scircle; three brothers-in-law Phil (Mary) Galloway of , Robert (Darlene) Galloway and Russell (Judith) Galloway, ; one sister-in-law Nedra (Jerry) Price ; special sisters-i-law Kathy Galloway of FL and Susan Galloway special friends Deanie and Dave Arnett.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son-in-law George Durham, father-in-law and mother-in-law Jesse “Short” and Dorothy Galloway; sisters-in-law Mary Jane Miller, Pat Pratt, and Bessie Galloway; brothers-in-law Harold Galloway and Richard Pratt; nephew Kent Pratt, niece Laura Pratt, and Great grandchild Angel Baby.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Saturday, November 29, 2014 at Ellers Mortuary Webster Street Chapel, 3400 South Webster Street, Kokomo. Pastors James H. McCauley and Kip Bowman will officiate. Burial will follow in Albright Cemetery.
