Edgerton – Mrs. George Oakley Sr., 63, route 4, Edgerton, died this morning in Edgerton Memorial hospital after a long illness.
The daughter of Clark and Elma Kidder, she was born Dec. 9, 1887, in the town of Fulton. She was married Sept. 17, 1904 to George Oakley and since then they have farmed in the town of Fulton.
Surviving are her husband; a son, George, Jr., route 3, Edgerton; two daughters, Mrs. Gladys Miller and Mrs. Ernest Hanson, both route 4, Edgerton; her mother, Mrs. Elma Kidder, town of Fulton; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and four brothers, Rex L., William J., and Clark E. Kidder, all of the town of Fulton, and Earl D. Kidder, Milton. A son, Wayne, died in 1933.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Jones funeral home, the Rev. Douglas Anderson, Methodist pastor here, officiating. Burial will be in the Milton Junction cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after noon Tuesday.
