Wayne Kenneth Kelley was born November 22, 1925 in Wellman, Iowa, the son of LeRoy and Anna (Ossman) Kelley. Wayne was united in marriage to Hazel Marie Glider on December 1, 1945 in Iowa City. Wayne served in the U.S. Navy during WWII from 1946-1947, then served 5 years in the Naval Reserve. He has lived in the Wellman and Millersburg communities, until moving to Williamsburg in January of 1996. He was a life long farmer retiring in 1980 after which he worked part time as a mechanic and a number of years at Fast Stop. Wayne was a former member of the Millersburg Methodist Church were he had served as a trustee. He is currently a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Williamsburg. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Wayne Kenneth Kelley, age 84, passed away on Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at his home in Williamsburg; Iowa County, Iowa. Wayne is survived by his wife of 64 years Hazel; three daughters: Wanda (Les) Mumm of Eureka, Montana, Susan (Randy) Johnson of Larkspur, Colorado and June (Terry) Johnson of Melba, Idaho; seven grandchildren: Allicia (Jason) Wissink and Sean Mumm, Zachary, Ethan and Ryan Johnson and Tyler and Jessie Johnson and a sister Aline Hesseltine of Crawfordsville. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers: Orval Kelley, Merwin Kelley, Arlo Kelley and Cecil Kelley and two sister: Mildred Nickel and Bernice Martin.
