Mrs. Emma L. Campbell.

Lynchburg, Va., august 25. - Mrs. Emma L. Campbell, a resident of Nelson County, who arrived here Saturday afternoon to pay a visit with sseveral of her children, who are residents of the city, died this morning at 10:30 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. E. Roberts, 1306 Tilden Avenue. Shortly after reaching the city Mrs. Campbell was taken ill, and her death was due to a trouble of the heart. Mrs. Campbell was the widow of M. V. Campbell, a farmer of Roseland, Nelson County, who died three years ago, and the mother of thirteen children, all of whom are living, the death of Mrs. Campbell being the seoound to take place in the family since her marriage years ago. She was sixty-two years of age, and apparently was in good health when she came from the country Saturday. The surviving children are: T.V., L.A., E.M. and P.M. Campbell, and Mrs. J.R. May, Mrs. W.M. Campbell, and Mrs. M.C. Adams, of Roseland; Mrs. N.R. Wright, of Arrington; Mrs. R. D. Dawson, of Holcomb Rock; Mrs. S. L. Monroe, Mrs. J.E. Roberts and C.C. Campbell and H.G. Campbell, of Lynchburg, the later being city salesman of Lynchburg Candy Company.
