PELHAM-James Mabe, 61, of 10821 N.C. 700, died at his home Tuesday morning. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Hickory Grove United Methodist Church, with burial in the church cemetery. A native of Guilford County, he was currently employed with AMP as an industrial engineer. He was an active memeber of Hickory Grove United Methodist Church, and served on the board for the Rockingham County Farm Bureau. Mr. Mabe is survived by his wife, Josephine Easley Mabe of the home; daughters, Cynthia O'Brien of Garner, Virginia Mallard of Pelham; grandsons, James Curtis Mallard and Michael Joseph O'Brien; mother, Thelma Murray Mabe of Summerfield; sister, Peggy Hampton of Charlotte; and brother, Donnie Mabe of Summerfield.
