She died Thursday, Dec. 10, 2009, at the Presbyterian Manor in Kansas City, Kan.
She was born April 23, 1929, in Des Moines, Iowa, the daughter of George and Genevieve Tatham McKeen.
She worked as an accountant for Montgomery Ward in Kansas City, Kan., retiring in 1995. She was a member of the United Methodist Church.
She married Ron Barber on Oct. 29, 1960, in Kansas City, Kan. He survives, of the home.
Other survivors include a son, Brian R. Barber, Salt Lake City; a daughter, Ronda Jo Barber Trieb, Leavenworth; and a grandson.
